The Polo Pony Lifestyle Estate is a sectional title estate which has the following to offer, to mention a few, 24-hour security, dining room, daily meals, coffee lounge, library, a laundry, housekeeping services, emergency button and clinic services.
We have a generator, so you are not left in the dark when there is load shedding. in addition to our on-site clinic, which is run by a registered nurse, weekdays from 9h00 to 11h00 , each resident/unit has a “panic button” which they may use in the event of an emergency. Our clinic staffs are immediately notified via sms as well as via our emergency panel in the clinic and they will then go out to check on the resident and render assistance if needed.
The estate is wi-fi ready, and each unit has a connection for dstv point. The account for the installation of the wi-fi to the unit and the dstv is for the residents account, as well as the dstv decoder and package that you may choose to suit your requirements. Each unit comes equipped with an internal phone in order to phone the gate house, kitchen or clinic. Should the resident require an external phone line, this can be arranged with our service provider, and will be for cost of the resident. Each unit has an air conditioner and heated towel rail.
Meals are available from our kitchen. We have a full lunch daily, including desert and a full breakfast and light supper on offer. The meals from our kitchen are optional. You are welcome to invite family and friends to join you in the dining room, as long as the kitchen has been given sufficient time to cater for the extra numbers. The same cost will apply to visitors.
Each resident is required to be assessed by our Registered nurse before conformation of any lease or sale agreement. A set of Body Corporate Rules is to be signed together with the lease of sale agreement. This is to establish whether the resident would be able to continue to live independently or would require some nursing assistance (which will be an additional fee). Should the resident’s health deteriorate, they can continue to be nursed in their own unit.
We have a fully equipped hair salon and have a hair dresser that comes to the estate on prearranged dates. From time to time we also bring in the services of a podiatrist should there be a need on the estate.
The estate is pet friendly and subject to prior body corporate approval one small dog/cat is permissible.
Currently the electricity and water is part of the levy paid by owners, however, should Body Corporate install separate meters at any stage then electricity will be an additional charge based on consumption (please note this also applies to rentals)
Due to the unpredictable nature of the covid 19 pandemic, the Body Corporate reserve the right to enforce a covid protocol, to close common areas and to limit service providers and visitors to the site. This will always be done in the best interests of the residents.
There is a levy stabilization amount of R10 000 due on the sale of each unit and is non-refundable, which is paid by the purchaser.
Should an owner want to rent out their unit, they may do so however the owner remains liable for all costs of the tenants. The Tenants are not invoiced directly as we have no recourse should they not pay.
